Their obsession with quality was impressive and they worked well with our architect and preferred sub contractors along with providing quality and reliable sub contractors of their own when needed. They were flexible in changing and reworking design and have been really responsive after the build was complete with any questions or issues that have occurred.   • St Stephen's church was set alight by an arsonist in 2020. While the past 5 years have been challenging for the congregation engaging Kyle and the Norwest team to rebuild the church interior removed a lot of the problems and frustration. Our church in Ponsonby has class 2 heritage status, and was built from kauri in the late 1870's. In addition to the fire and fire fighting damage the church was very tired after 140 years of exposure to the elements. Kyle was project manager and his team were committed to ensuring the heritage features were retained with close attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble and Kyle ensured the workmanship was of a very high standard. I believe his team were undertaking their first major heritage project however they were very professional in their work and we were very confident we had a first class team of builders involved. Given our heritage status the rebuild required a lot of compliance reporting. The compliance requirements of our conservation architect, Auckland council and Heritage NZ were well managed by Kyle. The church steeple will be rebuilt in 2026 and we have no doubt Kyle's team will be part of that process.
